About the Trust and its work

The Diseworth Heritage Trust exists to preserve the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of Diseworth and the surrounding villages, from Saxon times to the present day. As a Registered Charity (No. 1112223), the Trust is managed by a board of Trustees who meet regularly to plan the work of the Trust.

Minutes of the previous AGM can be read
here and the latest financial report can be read here.

The Trust's restoration of the Chapel is made possible by funding from its
sponsors and the subscriptions of its members.

Membership of the Trust is open to anyone who has an interest in local history and wants to support the establishment of the Heritage Centre, or use its facilities. Local groups and organisations are also encouraged to join. Joining is simple: just fill in the form you can find here

Friends and relations from outside the village, particularly former Diseworth residents, are very welcome to become members.

The Trust works closely with the Diseworth History Society, the
Long Whatton History Society, and other interested organisations.
