The Past in Pictures - The Cross
This view of the Bull and Swan and the Cross is taken from a postcard, sent in 1905 by JK Lock, who was at that time living at the Vicarage with his uncle. Later, his name would appear on the War Memorial, as one of those who returned safely from the Great War. The Memorial would be sited to the left of the gateway leading to the church.
